WELCOME TO SANTA PAULA UNITED FALL BALL

Our Community. Our Fields. Our Game.
The Santa Paula United Vision
For the past two years, we have played under the "United" banner to celebrate the strength of our local community. This year, we are taking a massive step forward by hosting our 1st Annual Fall Ball Program right here on our home fields in Santa Paula.
By bringing the game home, we are reinvesting in our families—saving you travel time and keeping registration costs the lowest in the region while maintaining the highest standard of USA Softball play.
Fall Ball is the "season of growth." Whether a player is moving up to a new age division or picking up a glove for the first time, our program focuses on skill-building and confidence without the pressure of records or standings.
Our locally-hosted model allows us to keep registration fees at or below $100 per player. We believe high-quality softball should be accessible to every family in our community.
Every dollar stays in Santa Paula. Your fees fund local adult and youth umpires, field maintenance, and major facility upgrades—including the installation of new batting cages for our athletes.
Join the league that produces champions. Our 8U division returns this year as Back-to-Back Las Vegas Winter Classic Champions!

Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question not listed here? > Contact our Fall Ball Coordinator at michael.nava815@gmail.com for more details!
Which division (age range) should my player play in?
Players should enroll in the division they will be competing in for the upcoming Spring 2027 Season. For example, if a player is currently a second-year 6U player, they should move up and register for 8U for the Fall Ball season.
Is there a Fall Ball program for the 6U/14U division?
Yes! We are excited to offer a 6U/14U division for Fall Ball, provided we have enough teams to form the division.
Can I request to play with friends?
Yes. You may submit a special request to play with a specific friend as long as you are both in the same division. While the Fall Ball Coordinator will try their best to match friends together, please note that requests are not guaranteed.
Will SP United be participating in the Santa Paula Labor Day Parade?
Oh yeah. That’s part of our tradition.
Can Managers pick their own players?
Yes. If there is a pre-arranged mutual agreement between a player’s parent and the Manager, the Manager can submit a specific roster list to the league. Typically, all managers/coaches in an age division work together with all players during practices. It’s the United way.
Will Fall Ball teams be balanced?
Fall Ball is a non-competitive developmental program and does not use a player draft. Because Managers are permitted to select their own rosters, teams are not balanced by the league. However, local Santa Paula Managers are encouraged to work closely with the Fall Ball Coordinator to address any major concerns or efforts to improve divisional balance.
Divisions & Team Placement
Costs & Registration
How much does it cost to play?
- Returning SPGS Players: If your player participated in the previous Spring season and is joining a Santa Paula United team, the cost is less than $100 per player. This includes two jerseys.
- Visiting Teams: For outside teams joining our league, the entry fee ranges from $900–$1,300 per team (depending on the age division).
Can a team play in both Santa Paula United and other local area programs?
Yes, this is possible! The decision to "double up" is up to individual Managers and their teams, provided there is space available in both leagues. Please be aware that total costs per player will be higher. Interested Managers should email michael.nava815@gmail.com for more information.
Practices & Logistics
How often are practices held?
Teams typically practice 2–3 times per week. Santa Paula United teams will have guaranteed field access twice per week and access to the batting cages every other week.
Can my team include players who didn't play in the Spring or are new to the sport?
Absolutely, as long as they meet the age requirements. However, please note that our base team entry fee assumes all players already have USA Softball insurance coverage from the Spring. If you have new players without a USA Softball ID card, an additional insurance fee will be assessed per player (amount to be determined later this year).
Can my team consist of players from different local USA Softball leagues?
Yes. Managers are welcome to mix players from various leagues, but the Manager is responsible for collecting and submitting all USA Softball ID cards to the league to verify age eligibility and insurance coverage.
